Creative Discovery

My creative discovery showcases my passion for travel, impressionist-style artwork, and an overall pattern of organized chaos. I strive to be anything and everything that brings me happiness. Following trends and trying to fit in has never brought me comfort, if anything, it has had the opposite effect. I want to branch out and use my love of travel to collect pieces of the world and weave them into my artwork, no matter how messy it may appear.
Experiences that feel cluttered often hold the most meaning. Our minds are cluttered, our lives and relationships are cluttered, it’s all messy. I want to bring the beauty of that chaos outward, transforming it into a physical form or experience that evokes emotion in every participant. This is reflected in my self portrait. I see my cluttered mind as art; I am made of art and I myself am art. Around me (my head) is an abundance of inspiration for my future and my creations.
